About MasterCamper
MasterCamper is a small, independent directory project. It is not a big company, it does not operate any campground or repair shop, and it is not affiliated with any park agency, KOA franchise, or repair business it writes about. It covers one state at a time, starting with Colorado, because that is a scope that can actually be researched carefully rather than a scope that sounds impressive.
The idea started from a plain frustration: finding a campground or an RV repair shop online usually means wading through star ratings that don't say whether a park actually has full hookups, what the reservation system is, or whether a repair shop works on your specific rig. So this site does the boring, useful part instead: reading each park's own site, its managing agency's site, or each repair shop's own site, and writing down what they actually say, including the parts they don't say.
Every listing on this site has three parts, and we do not skip the third one: the facts we could confirm, sourced from the park's or shop's own pages; a short editorial summary in plain English, not marketing copy; and what we could not confirm, listed by name, not hidden or glossed over.
How we make money
v1 monetization is ad placement and an optional newsletter for new park reports and seasonal deals. When we join a real RV rental affiliate program (Outdoorsy, RVshare, or similar), any referral link will be plainly labeled as a referral, never presented as our own booking system or as live availability we don't actually have. We do not sell placement in the directory itself yet; if that changes, it will be clearly labeled as paid placement, never disguised as an organic listing.
There is no fabricated founding story here and no staff photos, because there is no staff to photograph yet. If that changes as more states are added, this page will be updated to say so honestly, not padded with invented history in the meantime.
If you run a campground or repair shop listed on this site and something is wrong, or you're a camper who spotted an error, get in touch and we'll fix it. Correcting a wrong fact matters more to this project than defending it.
